Executive leaders across the globe have been asking a relatively simple yet profound question: Can we leverage generative AI to transform our business, enterprise, or industry? For software-based companies, focus has either been on differentiating their product and service offerings using this new technology, or leveraging it to improve productivity and efficiency within the organization. But what is the impact of generative AI on software team productivity and efficiency? How do you measure its success? Tools like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot now allow developers to produce code much faster and on-demand, in almost any programming language. But does automatic code generation present more of a problem than a solution in companies that already have codebases that are difficult to maintain? Can product management, quality assurance, testing, security, and operations all keep up with the rapid pace of development and increased expectations of the business? Join Tariq King as he dives into the complex issue of leveraging generative AI to improve software productivity. Tariq will separate generative AI hype from its potential for hyper-acceleration within the software industry.
