SeaStar Quality Conference 2023

With great power comes great responsibility. As we progressed up the career ladder and started managing bigger projects, we realized that it was a whole new ballgame. All aspects of the project were of great value - the budget, the resources, the gains, the losses, the risks, the constraints, and so on. Our experience handling multiple smaller projects helped to a large extent, but we felt lost when taking on complex projects. The definition of high value projects is contextual and differs from organization to organization. This talk will begin with Mili and Ajay sharing examples of high-value projects, highlight the intricacies of projects across systems, teams, departments, budgets, and time constraints, and conclude with tips and tricks to overcome known and unknown challenges.
